Renter checks

We do not save the answers from renter checks, including addresses, rent amounts, names, notice details, or answers from the additional rights checks.

Landlord packets

We save the details needed to create and reopen a landlord packet. Names and property addresses are saved only when the landlord enters them and checks the storage-consent box. Unpaid packet previews expire after 24 hours. Paid packet access normally expires after 30 days.

Email and saved units

If you ask for an emailed deadline or result, we keep the email capture for up to 180 days and use it only to provide that service and related support. Saved units remain available until they are deleted or you ask us to remove them; private access links expire after 24 hours.

Service providers and security

Our hosting provider operates the application, database, and transactional email service. Our payment processor handles purchases. When Google measurement is active, Google Analytics processes the limited activity data described below. We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers. Do not send Social Security numbers, bank information, or unrelated legal records.

Limited activity counts

We count basic actions, such as starting or completing a check, to improve the service. These counts do not include exact rent amounts, names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, or access links.

Google measurement choices

For visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google measurement is off until the visitor makes a choice. In other locations, limited analytics and ad measurement start automatically unless the visitor previously opted out. Measurement includes sanitized page categories and selected product events such as viewing a result, seeing the packet offer, beginning checkout, and completing a $19 purchase. Advertising storage lets Google connect an ad visit to a purchase. Protected report paths are replaced with generic paths, campaign and Google ad-click values are strictly limited, and we do not send form answers, dates entered in the checker, exact rent amounts, names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, packet IDs, verification codes, payment-session IDs, or private access links. Personalized advertising, remarketing, and Google signals remain disabled. Anyone can change or withdraw their choice at any time with the “Privacy choices” button.

Deletion and questions

Paid packets include a deletion control. For an email capture, saved unit, or other privacy request, contact support@rentcapcheck.com from the email address involved and include the packet ID when available.
